Is there a thread for this ? Just signed up for 4k UHD @ £14.99 a month.

Is that in 4k / HDR / Atmos with 4k downloads and no ads ?

I’m making use of the free sub, lots of ads but it is 4K.

Good information, thanks.

I have activated this from my Sky Q menu, but a lot of the content says 'get access now" and activate this on your sky account.

Any ideas?

The Sky sub doesn’t include everything it seems, some films require a higher tier. Can’t say I’ve found much stuff that I haven’t already seen or has been/will be shortly on Sky Movies. The Pitt is excellent though.

If you pay for boost its full hd no ads. Ultra boost is 4k ultra no ads. I dont have boost so its basic no ads.

Can't see much different to what's already available on Sky or stuff I've already seen before.

Menu is a bit pants as well, they should have a what's new section at least.

I’m with EE for broadband and mobile phones, one of my free extras is TNT which is then tacked onto the Discovery app on my Firestick.

TNT has now moved away from the Discovery app and I had to download and install the HBO app, signed in with my Discovery creds and it’s all working as expected.

Double checked and I get TNT only, the rest of the HBO content needs a sub.

Did Now TV already have most of HBO Max prior to this announcement ? It looks largely the same to me.

Maybe I'm just being cynical, but after a quick look it seems they've moved what used to be Sky Atlantic onto HBO Max unless you pay a bit more?

It's got TNT Sports to a degree which I'm keen on, I'd love to watch this years MTB DH World Cup series, but I don't want to pay £30 a month for it, it feels like I'm buying a lot of Football / Road Cycling etc I won't watch for my little fringe sporting events.

Same- only added HBO to keep TNT Sports. Anything else on there is always 'available' by other means.

Thinking about this, 90% or more of the stuff I used to watch on Sky, is now on HBO Max, in fact I can't think of anything Sky-produced I watch. Makes me question why I should keep paying Sky £60 a month for Glass Streaming (which is good, but flawed) when I can have Freeview Recorder for £200 and bolt on Netflix and Max for £20 collectively. It would be nice to have a DVR again.
