I dipped into this and found it much better than I expected. I don't think I've seen any of his films but Danny Dyer is quite likeable, quite funny and his daughter is much funnier and more interesting than a certain "nepo daughter" on another programme. They've bought a caravan park and he's definitely a grafter, doing his best to make it work. It's a pretty good watch, especially as it's a celebrity not running a fecking farm for a change.

Likewise. A friend twisted my arm into watching it.. and I think I got as far as the 'club night' where he invites a few friends to draw in the punters.

Very entertaining.

Totally missed DD during his 'Eastenders era' but I did enjoy alot of his early films, a few worth mentioning:

The Business (probably my favorite)
Human Traffic (very early Dyer)
Football Factory (Low rent British Gangsta era)

They definitely did not buy a caravan park. They were simply paid by sky to pretend to manage it for a season.

Despite that, it was very good and funny in places. Well worth a watch.

Football Factory is a perhaps surprisingly thoughtful film. I really like it. Dyer can actually act but then, why work hard when you don't have to...

I thought at one point he'd said they invested in it. Perhaps he meant time and not money.

Relly enjoyed this. Bit of a DD fan anyway - love his bluntness.

We watched it Sunday afternoon when the rain spoiled our plans - wasn't expecting much but found it very entertaining.
