My wife wanted to watch the new MasterChef (both of us like the Pro version) we managed about 20 minutes before turning this off mainly due to the 2 presenters who both looked totally out of their depth and detached from each other. The contestants were more relaxed than the presenters who seem to think that gurning constantly was the way to go.

2/10 at best.

I am very disappointed with this series, I had great hope for Anna, but not sure either of them offer anything, its just BLAND!
It really misses JT, but not GW.

Not liking this at all. The Irish woman looks like that Nicholas Cage 'You Don't Say' meme all the time, Grace looks weird now, the contestants have all become instantly forgetable and it just feels bland and boring.

I'm enjoying the change, John hd got stale. Enough has been said about Gregg to know that despite him making some meorable comments on TV, he's never going to grace our screens again.

I'm liking Grace, and I think Anna will improve with practice but she's already very good

Not a big fan of Grace - her accent seems to be all over the place.

Anna should be the size of a house if what she says about loving all food with loads of butter is true.

Episode one was alright with some decent food, but episode two was dire.
- Raw chicken - for gods sake.
- scallops with cinnamon for heavens sake, and then add some horrid looking black pudding slurry.
- unable to make mashed potatoes for the love of god! Then tries to thicken it with flour
- The laid-back woman was fine to start with, but just appeared to be taking the piss towards the end and didn't seem to be taking it seriously.

Hopefully episode three will be a bit better.

And to the person above who said both presenters are just gurning - thanks for that, it's all I can see now!

I'm enjoying the new series and liking both Anna and Grace. I think they're a big improvement over Greggggg and John, personally.

Ditto, the beginning amateur always fun to see who to watch for later episodes. Crash of flavours dishes not so much.
