Our ten year old has started staying up a bit later with mum and dad, for her whole life it's been a 7-7:30pm bedtime but the rest of the kids at school seem to be up to 9 or 10pm!

We initially started with a half hour of some very kid friendly stuff that she loved herself which her little sister wasn't really into.

We've now moved on Doctor Who starting with the re-boot Billie Piper series. All good although she has to watch a few bits from behind her hands!

But night after night of the same thing is never a great thing so we need to open it up a little. It's not like we watch a lot of TV stuff and it's not like "24 hours in police custody" is going to be suitable but by the same margin the 7pm - 9pm TV schedule isn't exactly inspiring either-we're not exactly Eastenders or Coronation Street folk!

What do you watch with yours?

If he's into Star Wars then some of the live action stuff is decent on Disney+ like The Mandalorian and Andor.

It all depends on what he likes. With our daughter we have started watching various older films that me and the wife haven't watched for years and its good to remember them with your child

My 11 yr old daughter loves watching Adam Sandler films and Ben Stiller films.

I don't mind her watching stuff with a bit of swearing as she knows the line but try not to show her anything to scary.
Seems to quite like police interceptors.

Once Upon A Time: Cert 15
A small town where everyone is really a Fairytale Character.
Quite a few seasons...so ideal for binge watching.
(Sounds weird... but it worked.)

Ted Lasso - brilliant feel good series and definitely don't need to be into football to enjoy it, it's about how to positively live your life, the "Lasso Way" - "be curious, not judgemental", "be a goldfish", & kindness is a strength. And it's bloody funny.

Taskmaster do a "bleeped" version that seems to be popular amongst colleagues with kids.

Orphan... my teenage Daughter told me about it.
(But they say 11+... depending on maturity).

So on that basis, I would add Gremlins & Tremors.
