Can't see a thread on this programme which is the American spinoff of Doc Martin.
I loved Doc Martin, it just got it right in terms of humour and melancholy
By contrast, the horrendous Americanisation proves to be a never ending car crash of dislikeable characters (the sheriff is particularly grating) and rubbish storylines. The cameo by Martin Clunes as his American dad is truly cringeworthy.
While the British Doc Martin and Louisa relationship was tied to their child, the impending relationship between Dr Best and the American Louisa is just not very credible.
I have persisted but it's really bad.

Agree on grating and irritating characters, especially the receptionist / blogger girl. Argh. The people in that town need something, yes it's comedy but then again. I am prepared to forgive the inclusion of Clunes as clearly the production team doesn't take itself with even a hint of seriousness.
The only one I can tolerate is Annie Potts but then always liked her as Sheldon's MeeMaw.
So why do I keep watching? Pass. No idea, I must be as stupid as that Sheriff.
Prediction, will it turn out like being one of that crowd who will b
h like fury about the New Grand Tour and inclusion of Francis/Luke but still watch it every week in order to have a whinge.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
