Heart of the beast

Wonderful film, filled with tension and emotion.

Odin (the dog) is a handsome bugger too, I could easily have reached into the screen, grabbed him and took him home.

Saw this coming soon and thought to watch it.

i want to watch it with the missus but if the pooch dies she will kill me; tell me it survives.

The dog survives. As proof, the opening scene with the dog is actually a flash forward to a scene at the very end of the movie. The ending is very good actually, and not what I expected

There is a website called 'does the dog die' that is dedicated to helping people decide whether to watch a film or not
