AI & AGI Time for a movie

Surely it's time for another Matrix / Terminator blockbuster, updated for modern day.

Perhaps something along the lines of us unwittingly using AI to help us solve the worlds energy problems, which it does, only for us to realise the AGI has been here for years, keeping it's powder dry, whilst we build it's one major requirement and end up giving it the ultimate blackmail tool.

Haven't been to the cinema for ages, but that would change with the release of a good AGI movie. Can't see how it wouldn't be about as close to a sure thing as you can get if it's done well.
