I've recently re-watched (is that actually a word?) my three-disc Spaced
Collectors Edition, for the first time since I bought it months ago.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

My highlight? Mike getting shot at paintball and coughing up yellow paint.

Simon Pegg, et al, I salute your genius.

Yes indeed,

And I watched a load of these in a row the other Month,
his mate the rave fan, even the pelican crossing beeps set him off.

Hot fuzz though (hisses through his teeth)

I loved Spaced (written by Simon Pegg AND Jessica Stevenson) much better than Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz

So Simon Pegg, dump Nick Frost and go back to working with Jessica Stevenson.

A lady.
How d'you know?

It was entertaining but not that funny as people make it out to be, well IMHO anyway.

I think appreciation of Spaced is quite age specific and relies heavily on 'getting' all the references / homages.

MrTom - you are, of course, entitled to your opinion.

I'd just like to point out that it's wrong hehe

Cheers,

pure genius.

the chav episode where the chavs get simon's weed (which is actually oregano) and corner 'tim' in the alley is classic.

I watched the whole second series on a flight back from Buenos Aires on my laptop. The Argentinian bloke next to me must have thought I was a lunatic as I spent most of the flight in stitches.

The robot wars episode was particularly good. "War bd" hehe
