Just how rubbish were Roger Moore's James Bond films?
Discussion
He plays a bit of a slimey sleazeball of a Bond. He wasn't helped by the ridiculous writing/direction/whatever e.g. allowing him to have a gondola that turned into red & white striped hovercraft.
I saw OHMSS the other week, and was confused the whole way through for one point: Bond pretends to be Sir Hillary, Blofeld pretends to be Count de Camembert... but both have met in previous films! What the hell's the point of pretending to be someone else?

OHMSS is the most true to the novel bond film there has been. In the novel Bond has not previously met Blofeld and does go undercover as Sir Hilary Bray.I saw OHMSS the other week, and was confused the whole way through for one point: Bond pretends to be Sir Hillary, Blofeld pretends to be Count de Camembert... but both have met in previous films!
