Don't think they've done one about someone posting in the wrong forum on a website.

Wouldn't be a very long film though...

I believe they are already searching for actresses to play Jade Goody ... Michelle Ryan is one of the favourites, for some reason.

How about a movie where the good guy actually proves that there is no global warming and that climate change is normal and not the motorists fault.
Nothing is actually " Worse than previously thought " and it all ends hapilly with the IPCC and a load of greenies being blown up in an Arnie type ending?

Me. Not that they'd want to, but you didn't state any specifics.

Listening to radio 1 today and one of their main news stories was that they were in talks to make it mad

A bit unfortunate on my part - I was browsing 'The Lounge' and my other half posed said question, so I thought I'd share with PH, as I would've done on P&P! smile

Has anyone ever made a Falkland's War movie? I would have thought there are enough interesting events in that war to turn into a film.

Good idea, but perhaps still too soon? I would like it as a documentary style. Mainly to know what happened to these men.

I have loads of ideas for this, most of which are mysteries;

Disappearances
Lord Lucan
Amelia Earhart (I have a feeling a movie is on the way starring Scarlett Johannson)
Glenn Miller
Marie Celeste
The Flannan Isles Lighthouse (google if you don't know, very like the Marie Celeste.)

Strange People
Comte de Saint Germain
Kasper Hauser

Plain Strange
Oak Island Money Pit
Voynich Manuscript

The 1917 Halifax explosion - A boat of explosives was detonated accidently in Halifax, Canada. Largest explosion known until the Atomic bomb, hundreds killed.

Might be a bit soon and possibly suited for TV but Dunblane?

But as I am now getting old and have no chance of ever getting this on screen here is the opening scene of The Toads great unfilmed movie. (If there are any producers or script writers reading this I have already sent this to myself in a recorded delivery envelope. Its my idea!!)

Rollover by The Hypno Toad

Opening scene. The offices of The National Lottery. Small office. You see six people come in one by one to talk to the Man from Lotto. Each of them is very excited as they have all won a share of the biggest rollover lottery ever (£64 million). Each one of them is a different cross section of our society, one of them is our hero. All of them get given a briefcase of cash for their mad money. I heard that when you win millions on the lottery you get given £50k to spend straight away until the rest of the money clears to your account. (Even if this isn't true who cares, it makes a great plot point.). However finally The Last Guy walks in. The atmosphere is notably cooler as he comes in. He is given the briefcase. He looks at it with contempt.

The Last Guy: I don't want that.
Man From Lotto: Sorry.
TLG: I don't want that.
MFL: But its yours, to spend til you get the rest of your winnings.
(TLG pushes the case back to the MFL)
TLG: I don't want it
MFL: But its yours!
TLG: In that case, I'm giving to you.
MFL: Me? Why?
TLG: As a payment for services.
MFL: What services?
(the room now goes really cold as you realise TLG is somebody serious.)
TLG: I want the names and addresses of the other winners. And your going to give them to me.
MFL: Why do you want their names and addresses?
(room becomes freezing)
TLG: Because they have my money..... and I want it back..........

And the poster tagline? "Rollover - Pray your numbers haven't just come up...."

Definatly needs a couple of decades to pass, it's still too soon to make a movie about how the Americans liberated the island. Give it a few more years, and there the American market will be ready, willing and gullible.
