Funny, or not?

I think it is. Rather pleased now to find that BBT is on followed by the inbetweeners...

I like it.
Sheldon's reaction to not being able to tell his Tapioca facts was brilliant.

It's not just me then.......

I liked last night, he's asking the little girl about monkies etc.. until he is taken away...... The thing is, I think we all knew someone at school who had those brains and social skills to match.....

Penny (knock, knock, knock), Penny (knock, knock, knock), Penny (knock, knock, knock), Penny (knock, knock, knock)rofl

Best episode so far was the one where she started playing WoW and got a little carried away.

Apart from the over-the-top canned laughter, it's a great non-sweary comedy. Sheldon's autistic/OCD/genius character and Howard's sex-pest geek are probably the funniest of the cast.

I'm currently sifting the interwebs to get ahead of the game and see episodes ahead of E4 - I can't do with all this waiting a week for the next episode. biggrin

Canned laughter? Are you sure? From what I hear it seems more like a studio set with a real audience to me.

Great programme anyhow and everything the "IT Crowd" could have been with a bit of effort.

I think it's filmed in front of an audience. Great show though. Just finished season one, so will hunt down number two shortly.

Very funny, has me in stitches. I have friends who are really like these guys smile(Great bunch of people as well). My hubby did computer science degree as a mature student. I can really relate to a lot of the conversations that take place even though I am not a computer geek.

Oh yes!! I work with a lot of geeks, and these guys have them down! (A bit like the IT crowd really!)

I seem to have got myself hooked on this too - but the only slight annoyance is the laughter (I was pretty sure its canned!)

Since they took 8 simple rules off me - its a good Penny fix too biggrin

thumbup love it

That was a good one

technically Sheldon always does 3x Penny (knock, knock, knock). I always find the 3x3x3 symmetry oddly pleasing paperbaggetmecoat

Great series, it's funny when you pick up on some piece of internet geekery-type humour that you have only read rather than seen on telly. For example, Sheldon's distaste for Lolcats:

My favourite bit so far, the ultimate Christmas present for Sheldon:

That Christmas one was brilliant. Sheldon finally speechless and to top it all it was because of Penny smile
