Peter Rogers, the producer who created the Carry On films, has died at the age of 95, Pinewood Studios has announced.

Absolutely agree - sad loss. Series had its awful moments (pretty much all towards the end... Girls, England, Emanuelle) but a lot are bona fide classics of 'British' humour.
The dinner party scene in Khyber is my favourite too, although run a close second by Cleo... "Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me..."
