This new series was on last night and I missed it. Apparently the iPlayer makes the unmissable unmissable, so why is this programme not available when I could inexplicably watch a repeat of Eggheads if I was so taken?

Expecting this thread to die and blow away like week-old mown grass, thanks to the exciting raft of changes to these forums.

Probably the same reason The Wire didn't appear on the iPlayer, the BBC won't have bought online right to the show.

Well that's a pain in the ass. Why doesn't the advert say "making it possible to watch Two Pints of Lager and (breathe) a Packet of Crisps a second time if you're a masochist"?

The new series doesn't start until next Tuesday. They're just re-running series 1 first.

Ah I see, well it was a new series to me as I hadn't heard of them until last weekend. Worth a watch?

Absoloutly worth a watch, one of the best comedy programs of the moment. Very, very funny. If you get it, which I did, a few friends didn't and couldn't stand it. But me? fantastic...

Give it a go
Cheers
