Hi not sure this is the right forum but:
i have just moved into a place with a Sony Bravia TV and it has freeview, however, most of the channels come up with either "channel not available" or "not tuned". This includes BBC 1 & " etc but "Dave" comes on ok.
How do I set it up, there is no nanual???
Any help greatly appreciated

At a guess, would say you need to go into settings and hit the re-tune tab. The TV should then do a re-scan of all available stations.

It *might* be something I've had with mine, which sadly I've never been able to solve, is that when my DVD recorder is on some channels display the message you are getting.

When the recorder is off channels operate as they normally would. No amount of re-tuning solves it.

Tried auto tune and manual tune without success, have got BBC3 & 4, ITV channels, most of 5 channels but no amount of swearing gets BBC1 & 2.
There is a Sony DVD player, not recorder, but whilst connected it is not switched on.
And NO it is not nicked!!!
