Definitive car film list/library
Discussion
As part of my car room/study (in reality spare room upstairs in my house) I am slowly compiling a library of car films and I just wondered if I had missed any good films that I could add to the list?
So far and in no particular order:
Gone in 60 Seconds
Ronin
Two lane blacktop
Death Race
Bullit
Duel
Initial D
Transporter
Transporter 2
The Driver
Gumball Rally
Fast & The Furious (part of my slutty car collection)
2 Fast 2 Furious (my dirty secret)
Tokyo Drift (more dirty secrets)
Torque (really, really dirty secret)
Mad Max
Mad Max 2
Mad Max 3
Doomsday (purely for the Mad Max homage chase)
American Grafitti
Hell Drivers
So, any other recommendations?
Cheers
RM

So which Bond films are we adding to the list?
It's a thought isn't it. But although many Bond films feature great cars and sometimes great chase sequences, do they fall in the remit of a good car film?Anyway he's a few others I'd throw into the mix, The Wraith (Charlie Sheen), Winning (Paul Newman indy melodrama), from Dust to Glory (feature length documentary about Baja), Truth in 24, and probably several Road Trip style films I imagine. Or the Bournes...

As has been previously stated:
Le Mans
Vanshing Point
Maximum Overdrive
There's another film, sure it's French, featuring a 67? Mustang Hardtop that looks pretty good....
If anyone knows what it is, post it
