Surely they should just redo Streets of San Francisco with Karl Malden and Michael Douglas and have Catherine Zeta-Jones-Douglas as the time traveller. smile

Is it all white teeth and suntans?

Its actually set in NYC (i think).

One of the guys has a fantastic walrus 'tash and Harvy Keitel as Gene Hunt is very weird!!!

Its realy missing that something that the UK one has though!!!

yes

The Yanks are so horribly literal at times! rolleyes

(I thought the US version of The Office was actually very good - at least if you stop watching it and comparing directly with the original. It works better after the first series, when they stop recycling the UK scripts)

I thought the ending to Life on Mars was pretty good, still one of my favourite programmes.

I have to agree, the ending of the US version is frankly bizarre and completely different to the UK version. The US version also only lasted for one series of about 18 episodes before it was cancelled.

Ah, not seen the US version, I assumed it would be a straight copy of our one.

I managed to sit through half of the pilot, that was it. It is utter ste. And I read the ending. OMG, can't they do anything right? The Brit one was good, the US one was just utter...trash.

For the love of God, you have to youtube the ending of LoM USA.
