Subtle differences between a race box and a porsche consumer unit I suspect.

Sod the flappy paddle, I want the sidecar outfit!

I know that they are a really stupid idea in virtually every way - but I have always had a perverted desire to own one.

I couldn't believe his 'hey Porsche, you may think your car is good on paper, but on the track it's slower' attitude.

It was slower because of significant and recurring human error - his!

He reviewed the car like some spoilt brat.

Yup! I said much the same in a prior post, but it seems to have been lost in the servers somewhere.

Semi-automatic in the Lacetti just like all WTCC cars (except the BMW which in WTCC trim is a proper H gate manual.), proper gear lever. Push forward to change down, pull back to change up.

An elcheapo piece of filming if ever I saw one, if they were going to compare it with the 3 vert they could have at least had one to compare it too. A bit difficult to say one looks better than the other when the other ain't there rolleyes unbiased opinion from me is the 3 looks better because it has a tin roof and I'm not that keen on the gaping fronts on the Audi range so for that reason alone the BMW' look better.................oh ok I'm biased.............but if I thought the S5 looked better I would have bought it.

5th Gear in 'annoying rubbish' shocker. It truly is terrible, each week I try to watch and within 10 minutes have to turn it off because it is such garbage.

Top Gear nect week though. WOOO HOOOO!

I nearly fell off me chair when I heard a Porsche being criticised.. I thought Plato and Tiff NEVER criticised the Porkers..

I was actually surprised by the real world MPG test though. But then I switched it over at 8.30 because I simply couldn't take anymore.

I thought it was fine.

It had proper car reviews, it was about cars. If you dont/didnt like it dont watch it, and watch something else.
I am sure Plato has enough experiance and skill to make a fair judgment! What next, the slide he caught at the BTCC at Brands was easy;)

Porsche did not adopt a an industry standard flappy paddle set-up, its his call to say if its usable or not.

Petrol heads my ar$e.

Fair enough, I stand corrected.

I think 5th Gear is a bit crappy, but it still doesn't annoy me anywhere near as much as Top Gear.

Its hardly the first time jurnos have called the PDK's controls into question is it? It might be a brilliant system but as the buttons are counter intuitive its going to cause problems. Plato even stated that it should've had flappy paddles instead.

The Audi review was tedious, the MPG test was dull but fair.

The Tiff, Moss Ferrari thing was okay but I would've preferred more on Moss on the 250, not that fussed with the 599.

Tiff and the Wookie on the off road trial was pretty entertaining. I'm not a biker but even I quite fancy one of those ancient Russian side car setups.

There's so much rubbish in that program, they really should condense it down to a 30 min program. And get rid of Tim Shaw!
