Heads up for 9pm tonight. Three episodes, tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. Saw some clips this morning on the Beeb, looks pretty good.

Take it there's only the three episodes? Seems to be riding on a bit of a coincidence but still hard hitting stuff at the end, I'm fairly sure there's some major inaccuracies throughout the series though. Are soldiers really allowed free rein throughout Basra in all their weapons and gear, free to pop in on friends and foes on their own?
I dont the PMCs have as good a relationship with the forces over there as depicted. Incident last november where a PMC on an escort run was ambushed outside a military base and the Yanks refused to assist or allow them entry.
On the whole not a bad series, few flashbacks for some I reckon.

On the whole it was worth watching but not great, the first episode wasn't too good, the second episode was excellent and the final episode was decent but ruined by Nesbitts innability to act any emotion.
Can't help thinking that if they had done a Band of Brothers style tie-up with HBO it would have been amazing.

- SPOILER WARNING*
I thought it was great. I drifted off a bit during the first episode, but got hooked after watching the start of the 2nd. I thought the ending was superb - it was very refreshing to see an non-hollywood ending. Great last image as well as each man was lost in their own misery, sat together, but seated just far enough apart to suggest that they were alone.
