Since when did the 80s have LED signs and CCTV cameras?

Plus I'm sure the opening theme wasn't 80s either, I can't remember the artist or title but it's late 90s surely!

Well that was excellent and a bit grim - some quality period motors as well.

So I Sky+'d parts 1&2 last night.

Anyone know when 3&4 are on?

Are there only 4 parts to this?

Thanks - didn't know how Series link would cope with part 2 being on at a different time to part 1?!

Brilliant, will be buying the DVD on release. Tom Hardy played Freddie brilliantly, right down to the constant chewing of a coke head. According to wifey - who is a true Martina Cole fan - this series of The Take, is the central half of the book, missing the beginning of the book and the finale (let you guess the outcome for Freddie junior).

Just watched the final one, excellant all the way through. Didn't disapoint at all. We need more programs like this, perhaps too long to be a movie. Hope to see more of all the actors/actresses in there, was a really good cast. I know we're seeing more and more of Tom Hardy but Shaun Evans hasn't yet been in much that i've seen.

Didn't disappoint? I thought the final episode easily the weakest of the four, the previous three being excellent and setting up an ending that sadly just sorted of faded into nothing when it promised so much. When the credits rolled, I couldn't help but think 'is that it then?'.

Yep I agree...thought the last one felt a bit rushed and wasn't as good at building suspense as the other episodes had been. Overall the series was very good though.

i hate the way they modify the tv series of things, it would of been a hell of a lot better if they had stuck to freddies end in the book.
still a damn good watch though.
