It was the cut version mind, would be at that time of day obviously! The full version is actually better as you see more of her, I seem to remember.
I reckon an up to date and actually good remake of this would be good now. Just wondering who would fill the Jenny Agutter role now though... so many good looking actresses to choose from!

Unfortunately when it comes to modern posh totty they always end up casting Kiera Knightly.

Well, that was my point. Her outfit was rather see through in one scene, to the degree that I thought she practically wasn't wearing anything..............Guffy said:
I still find Miss Agutters puppies quite mesmerising
It was interesting to see Logans Run again after so many years, i don't remember the dodgy acting, slow pace and awful special effects!
But that happens with anything you haven't watched for a long time. As a kid I used to love watching the old 1930's Flash Gordon when it was shown every Saturday morning and school holidays. I couldn't make a guess at how many times I'd seen each episode. A couple of years ago I bought it on DVD, started to watch it, never finished the first episode. It just wasn't how I remembered it. I'll give it another go some time.
I can still watch Logan's Run (although I didn't realise it was on today - so just ordered a copy from play.com for £5). Miss Agutter does help distract you from the dodgy special effects. Of course if you want to see Miss Agutter there is only one film to watch and that is Walkabout, one of the most visual stunning films I've seen.

Wasn't there someone on this forum who lived down the road from her when he was younger. Said she was very nice & down to earth?

i think she was 15 when it was filmed
I'll have to have a listen to the commentary track on the DVD and see if she mentions anything.

Just watching it now, the effects etc are poor by modern standards but it's actually not bad. A film that probably could do with a remake maybe?
Don't give them ideas! The special effects may be dodgy, but it was a genuine effort. If Hollywood remakes it, it'll star Matt f

They made a TV series that I remember watching as well, used quite a bit from the film in it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owNi60LLK1c
