She is on Friday Night with Jonothan Ross, and has talked for the best part of 10 mins about climate change, and at the end of the century the world population will be 1bn, despite being 10! This is based on what her 90 year old mate told her. I think she is the worst guest I've ever seen on this programme. Stupid bint should stick to fashion.

Oh my god, someone beat me to it, I want to climb into the TV and batter her to death, what the fk was a nutty old bat blithering on about?

We all have to save the rainforest? fk OFF! You're a bloody multi-millionaire "fashion designer" who's talents extend to wrapping some material around you, tying some old belt around you and charging thousands of pounds for it.

Waste of space and waste of air.

She was clearly a lunatic.

James May was on afterwards which made up for it. Ross kept cutting him off though, rude bd. Everytime James got on to something interesting in a bit more detail he got cut off "oooh technical" rolleyes

I hate being preached too by celebrities, most of who are incredibly hypocritical. Another bugbear is incorrect terminology being used in newspaper articles, such as talking about polar ice caps, and the assumption that the greenhouse effect is an inherently bad thing – I find most commentators actually have very little idea about the subject, and Westwood, Bono and Trudi Styler probably have even less.

Would have turned the show off if James MAy wasn't second out. HOw much energy went into making the stupid oversized dress she was wearing?

Wouldn't watch Ross if my life depended on it but I have a lot of time and respect for Vivienne Westwood.

For decades she has been an excellent and very inspirational designer, constantly pushing boundaries.

Her son Tim however is a fkwit of the highest order wink

If you'd seen her last night your opinion would have changed. She is by far the most irritating person I have ever seen on that show. Including the host.

What an utter freak. How is she a fashion designer with clothes like that? She just used that interview to promote eco crap.

If you don't know anything about science or climate change then it's possible that you could have a similar view to Ms Westwood and panic about it. Nothing wrong with that, what was clearly off was the BBC letting her come on and voice her ill-informed fears.

Slightly ironic though as being a fashion designer she's probably done more laps of the planet than the Space Shuttle.

Agree totally, the daft bint really sent me off on one when she started pedalling all that bks, particularly when all of about 30 seconds later she was talking about flying between Milan and Paris.

At least we've found out why so many of the people chaining themselves to 747's appear to be well off, over opinionated housewives
