Hi All

I am in need of some big big help.

I have found out from two people working at Virgin that I have been overpaying £15 a month for the last 24 months.

Whilst canceling my service today the cancelations guy told me that Iw as being charged twice for my V+ box.

Apparently this totals £15 a month when checking my bill.

Now whilst speaking to customer services today I was told that just after I joined, I was sent a letter that said I could of paid £99 and I would no longer need to pay the £15 a month charge and I would then own the V+ box.

However as I did not respond tro this I am not eligable for a refund.
However there is a note on my account that shows that I rung virgin a few months after signing up and complained about this £15 charge. I actually recieved a credit for £15 this time round and was told it will not happen again, however it did happen the next time and I again complined but was told there was nothign more I can do.

So for the last 20 months or so I have recieved my bill and swallowed this £15 a month fee until now when I have realised the fee is totally wrong.

The customer service person said there is nothing she can do.

I have asked for her manager to ring me back later today.

Does anyone have any ideas or any help for me.

You will probably have to be a real PITA (to them) now that you have cancelled - that is the best leverage, they will usually buckle eventually to keep a customer, but now you have left them they may take a lot of threats and so on before they give in.
