The IMDB reviews seem positive, but at 154 minutes if its not good you're in for a long night!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417741/

I'll probably be dragged to this at the weekend so let us know what you think.

To save you the hassle here's what happens. The ginger one fed up with all the taunting he's been getting pops down to Hogsmeade and purchases an AK47, on returning to Hogwarts proceeds to fire randomly at anyone he sees. Meanwhile Dumbledore is found wandering around the school corridors in only his hat and slippers muttering something about once having a classical acting career. Hagrid is found hanging from the Whumping Tree with a note pinned to his coat that says "I cannae take nee more" And Harry, barely recovered from his addition to Crystal Meth finds Hermione in bed with Professor Snape, "this is not what my contract said when I took this part" he says and shouts "Expeliamous" at Snape. Unfortunately the Expeliamous he anticipated wasn't the Expeliamous he got from Professor Snape much to Hermoine's cross eyed surprise. Voldemort appears, laughs, they all die. The end. And JK Rowling lived happily ever after.

"Dragged along" my ass. You want to go, otherwise you could just say no - just like Zammo.

Went to see it last night with SWMBO (she's a massive fan of the HP books)

Thoroughly enjoyed it

I must admit it was better than I expected.

Fooking long though.

And, yes, Hermione would get it now.
