Started off expecting a laugh fest when we went to see Bruno. Utterly boring and void of any real comedy. Some laugh out loud moments but mostly it was strung out drivel.

So toniht to make up for it I sat down expecting to enjoy Burn After Reading, on the box it has quotes along the lines of "Comedy gold" and "Most amusing film of the year" I am, however, sat here mind numb from utter boredom. Not a single shred of comedy, nothing amusing at all. I fail to see any humour in it beyond what is just a very thinly veiled plot of iorny.

I watched Sky Premiere Saturday night and was surprised to find Brendon Fraser in Journey to the Centre of the Earth not terrible, and perplexed by M Night Himalayan The Happening I couldn't decide if it was unintentionally bad, climate change polemic or a very black comedy, still not sure. Best film I watched this was Che (part 1, which I'd recommend) although Part 2 was okay, on Blu Ray, and I don't normally care to sit through subtitled 'foreign films'.

Started watching the happening on Any time. Have to say its the most f**ked up film I have seen. Only half way through so far but Markie Mark must have been thinking "wtf am I doing, I was in three kings".

There was nothing much good film-wise on TV either this weekend.
