Anyone been watching this?
There's been 2 series of it, although I think only one has been aired on FX.

It's about a chemistry teacher who finds out he has a terminal illness, so to make sure his family he goes into the meth making business. Obviously being a good chemist he makes the best purest meth around, and gets a name for himself.
He doesn't want to tell his wife or kid about it, and his brother in law is in the DEA.
It's almost a dark comedy at times.
The main character is the dad from malcolm in the middle (Bryan Cranston) and he is really, really good..

Fantastic series, Bryan Cranston really is brilliant in this role.

I thought the ending to series 2 was a bit odd, wont spoil anything, but awaiting the next installment impatiently.

Sounds a bit like Weeds, which was OK, but I got a bit bored after a while. There are a lot of inconvenient DEA officers on these shows. How many are there in real life???

I think the reason he starts making meth is BECAUSE his brother in law is in the DEA.
I think he talks about how much the stuff is worth, or something.

Also, it's a lot lot better than weeds. Much less drama imo.

Amazing program.

Scriptwriting is incredible, acting is great the whole thing is a masterpiece hence low viewing figures and two grammys!

I think FiveUS bought the rights to the second season.
So again, it will get no viewers.

FiveUS showed Series 1 before Christmas. One would assume they have Series 2, but the licensing of US dramas can be a bit random.

I don't understand what's wrong with TV execs over here.
They could make a KILLING by buying these low rated yet brilliant shows up.
Dexter, Breaking bad, etc.

Cheap as chips.

The problem is that when they finally buy these shows, they never put them on at a sensible time.

Dexter was on ITV at 11pm on a tuesday IIRC.

What the hell?

They showed series 2 nightly between Christmas and New Year.

Just munching through series 2 at the moment - some of the characters are a touch thin but i'm really enjoying it overall.

Downloading at home at the moment. Can't wait to watch it tonight.

I think o2 are throttling my connection though. I'm getting awfully slow bittorrent speeds.
