Just a quick recommendation, just watched the film "The Lives Of Others"

Unless you understand German, you'll have to watch it with subtitles. But nevertheless, an utterly brilliant film.

It's in the IMDBs top 250 (although I realise that some of the ratings on that website are absurd, quite how they can give awful films such as "300" such a high score is beyond me)

Half the films I watch these days have subtitles as I'm so bored with the generic Hollywood plotlines.

Stuck it on my Love Film list last night as I was browsing the IMDB top 250 for ideas.

I hope it is as good as you say, I remember when it came out being intrigued.

Yep I give this a thumbs up too. It got an alright run in the cinema here a couple of years ago when it came out. Was nominated for Foreign at the Oscars if I recall too.

Me too, and then you look back over history and there's almost unlimited amount of great films to watch! And some from back when Hollywood was good too
