When I first saw him I thought he was really good. Really different style and really funny jokes. Lots of LOL's

His more recent stuff just doesn't cut it any more. The last 'new' material I saw was st.

Is it maybe a case of too much exposure causing subsequent bordom. Or was his act just st in the first place and I laughed because I was drunk?

I never tire of other acts like Jack Dee, Lee Evans or Marcus Brigstocke pissed or sober.

I'm sure it will be good, I would still like to see him live just to make my mind up really. Is he genuinely funny and worth following or a 'one hit wonder' who's act has only limited mileage?

I think he's usually bang on the money with his observations and his energetic style is quite infectious.

Agreed. I find him quite entertaining, but then I like observational humour.

Looking at most comedians on the circuit, they tend to have a series of set pieces that they jumble up...

I reckon he's a wobbly headed ct. Stop laughing at your own 'jokes'.

I like the bit he does about the hosties on the plane. Makes me chuckle whenever I fly anywhere now.

I went to see Lee Evans last tour and frankly he's on the wane now...giggled but didn't really laugh heartily at any point.

I was most annoyed as I was a real fan of his.

Saw MM last week in Portsmouth. Very funny, and didn't do anything I'd already seen on TV. I won't give you any spoilers, but as it's all observational it's not only hilarious but absolutely true (so in effect we're sitting there laughing at ourselves). I'm sure anyone with tickets won't be disappointed.

He's usually pretty good but he is quite full of himself, particularly lately as he has become more successful, which can rub people the wrong way.

He's definitely Marmite, but I've loved everything I've seen of him - including Top Gear

I saw him in Newbury a few months ago. He was very funny and most of it was talking to the audience and ad libbing but he kept slagging off the audience for not laughing enough so I went off him a bit laugh.

Wow, i thought i was on my own with this.. Tbh i never made it to the end of his DVD, although when i first saw him i was blown away... He recycles alot of his gags which is a major let down.... Reminds me a bit of Peter Kay!

Popular comedians gets lots of exposure nowadays, There are so many channels to fill it must be hard work keeping current and having new material, You wouldnt expect a band to have a new set every 3 months.
