He's just died this morning...

What a bizare co-incidence the day after that programme going out last night.

Its not a shock to be honest.
I turned the show on last night and immediately thought "Christ he doesnt look well! Aged and haggard."
That was before the show turned into a long alcoholfest! As soon as it started to show how much he was drinking and abusing, I knew exactly why he looked so ravaged and thought he was driniking himself to death. When they announced at the end of the show he was actually seriously ill with cancer I think it was, well it made a few numbers add up for me.

He actually died before the show was aired, according to this article.
Hmm, wait a minute, it's in the Daily Mail, so it may not be true.

Not a bad way to check out, I'd say.
Floyd drank a Champagne cocktail, a glass of Pouilly Vinzelles 2006 white Burgundy and a couple of glasses of Nature Perrin and Fils Cotes de Rhone 2007 red wine.
To eat, he had oysters with potted shrimp and toast, partridge and then Perry Jelly - pear cider made into jelly.
Back at home, Floyd had a nap and woke up feeling 'a bit headachy' but Mrs Martin just put it down to the extravagant lunch.
They were waiting to watch Keith Meets Keith, a Channel 4 documentary that shows actor Keith Allen visiting Floyd in France, when he collapsed and died.

He had a wonderful last day and even told me: 'I've not felt this well for ages' shortly before he collapsed.
It was my 65th birthday yesterday and we started off by going to see the specialist to do with his cancer. He had some very good news and he was very optimistic of his chances of beating it.
We then went to have a pub lunch in Lyme Regis and he was on good form, he was feeling marvellous.
He said "I have not felt this well for ages." He had a very good last day.'

TBF in last nights documentary, more than once he spoke to people in a pretty appalling and shocking way. Which was quite different to expressing his opinions about people. Who was the older lady on his right he snapped at? I don't think anyone deserves to be spoken to like that, friend or family.Anyway, RIP Keith.
