Tomorrows World - Proper Television.

Anyone else being re-watching these old episodes?

Brilliant. Just shows you what did happen and the enthusiastic looking forward approach we all had. It also shows that the public have lost that charm and interest in inventors and pioneers and swapped it for deadwood like Katie Price.
Such a shame. This episode (70's) is a classic showing Toby Churchill. A classic 'builder' with a flair for design. I think his joystick controlled Mini is brilliant. These are the people to get things going again in this country.
There is also another showing 'Crystal Lights' or LEDS - Amazing.
Real

We need Tomorrow's World back.
James May would be perfect for it, after all he's done the nearest thing to it with his "Big Ideas" series. Then get 2 other tech enthusiasts to work on it. Like Robert Llewellyn and ........... er.......well Stephen Fry likes his gadgets but I'm not sure his presenting style would work. But get 3 proper presenters, put it on BBC2 at 9pm whenever BBC1 & ITV have XFactor-Celebrity-cooking-dancing-and-Jungle-whoring on and it'll give the sensible, normal viewing public something to watch for a change.
