An amazing achievement and something that'll probably never be topped when it comes to celebrities fund raising. The only things is, why is the show about it on BBC 3, this should be on prime time on BBC 1.

I've been watching... with somewhat total amazement!!

I'm a fairly healthy guy, but I'd struggle to run / jog 5 or 6 miles... how on earth he has managed this is totally staggering!! Okay so he has had backup, but it makes me laugh that he's eating cake and pies along the way and even manages to fit in a couple of beers!! Brilliant effort.

Good one Eddie!

Holy thread resurrection Batman! biggrin

Good to see Eddie getting some good old PH recognition at last hehe

Comic Relief does seem to be doing a good job of getting celebs to support those less fortunate.

Walliams with the cross channel swim was an absolute first rate effort, and not something that I thought could easily be beaten, but Izzard seems to have managed it with some style!

Sad that Moyles wandering up a hill was prime time and eddie doing (what should be) the impossible is on BBC3.

Still not sure how he did it.

The fact that this truly, unimaginable feat has gone largely unnoticed, yet those ponces riding for a couple of hours at a time got coverage everywhere is sickening.

What Eddie did is akin to Walliams swimming the channel. That 'walking up a big hill' nonesense was utter garbage as well.

43 marathons. Just think about it. People train the whole year just to do one marathon, and they then whinge about it for years afterwards (i know i did lol).

He ran over a thousand miles in 51 days.

Read that again.

A slightly overweight, utterly non-sporty comedian ran over 1000 miles in 51 days.

Incredible.

Lot's of times in the episodes I was just shaking my head, amazed at his mental strength.

I thought it was pretty amazing too. Also unusual as he seemed to gain weight rather than losing it!

Mind boggling. I'm doing 6 in 7 days next month and have been training and preparing to the nth degree, he just hauled his fat arse around with mental power, very impressive indeed.
