Can't believe I'd never seen it before.

What a brilliant film!

Couldn't buy it out here in Dubai - or rather couldn't find it.

Got it last week on a trip back to the UK. Just watched it and felt compelled to comment.

Brilliant story & writing - wonderfully surreal at points, amazing characters (that were developed so well) and the acting was simply top notch. Every performance was right up there and helped with the character's development.

Had a lovely warm feeling at the end.

Can't believe I missed out on this film for so long!

Going to find my inner dude and embrace him hehe

For me the best bit in this filmis when they're watching the porno.

"Ja I am heer to fix the cable ya?"

"You can guess what happens next."

"He fixes the cable?"

Second best film. Ever.

For me its all about Walter - he makes the film. Especially his one liners..

"These fking amateurs"
"fking dipsts with a nine toe'd woman"
"This is not 'Nam, this is bowling. There are rules"
"Shut the fk up donny!"
"Gimme the ringer!"

Damn it, I really shouldnt start watching it at midnight on a "school night", but now I have to frown

if you are reffering to fear and loathing in las vegas, i watched this the other night and found it very difficult. would you suggest another watch before i form an opinion of it?

Agreed awesome film, anyone who hasn't seen it, make it your business to get it.

Fear and Loathing can be a tricky watch - it took me a couple of go's before it truly "clicked". However also bear in mind it's the ultimate Marmite film. Still probably worth another watch before you dismiss it completely.

There is some great dialogue in The Big Lebowski and the characters are superb, but I have no desire to watch it again. A quirky film, but not deserving of the cult following it has, IMO.

Other than the dialogue/characters bit, I agree with you.

And I agree with you.

Theer is some cracking dialogue but it's not a film I ever choose to watch.

But it's only, like, my opinion man.
