New series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks starts tomorrow. I'm not particularly into music but I always really enjoy the show.

Noel Feilding as new perm' team captain but what has happened to Amstel? The idiot from Horne and Corden is the first guest presenter.

Anyway should be good for a laugh.

I was looking forward to it until I found out who the first presenter was.

I will wait until next week to start watching I reckon.

Noel Fielding nono

James Cordon nono

Simon Amstell was a very good replacement for the brilliant Mark Lamar. A show like this needs a cutting host, in fact it depends on it.

Noels alright (but not an ideal replacement for Bill).

...and who thought Tubs was a good idea as a presenter? Even the gimp in the cardigan was better than this frown

There was a good replacement for Mark Lamarr when he was away once, I can't believe I'm saying this but Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser chiefs was a laugh when he hosted it in a crazy way.

It needs someone with a music background, get others like him on it to host it.

Simon Amstell *was* good initially, but he got a bit too big for his boots, and he seemed to want the show to revolve around him. Most of the time it was just him taking the piss out of one of the guests for the whole show.

The "Guest Presenter" premise has worked well for HIGNFY though, so maybe it will work well here.

The quality of the guests seemed up from last year - they really were getting the dregs beack then.

But what I could not stand was the host's fake laughter.

I missed it but it doesn't sound great. I like Noel Fielding but can't stand Corden. What happened to Amstel then, anyone know?

Hopefully someone smothered him with one of his own cardigans!

Some pretty thirsty contestants on that show! They seemed to be permanently drinking from their mugs; Jack Daniels?
