The member of the 'public' he's chosen is such a bad actor it's not even funny.....

Sweaty pits though!

I thought you had to give banks notice in advance if you wanted to withdraw that sort of money in cash?

With an elastic band around the bunch of £50 notes...

What a sweaty hobo. What was the point of predicting the speed of cars, it was probally a 50 limit hence they were both doing 50.

Ben is not only a bad actor but he's also a tw@t

I regularly withdraw these kind of sums and more without any notice and to be offered a grubby envelope is sheer luxury!!

Anyone else notice the camera was NOT looking over his shoulder during the ball-in-court routine?

Instead we saw the back of his jacket. So..I suspect makes a fake mark on page and then marks it using his thumb(?) after it landed.

ETA: But I did love the in-video authentic look.

And what was that "science of scams" website he advertised before part 4, can't get on it at the moment.

That was so obviously a single room 'dressed' as a casino with a single roulette wheel.

It's a shame, I really like Derren Brown's other stuff.

You kind of got the impression they didn't try very hard with this one?

You mean to say it wasn't real?!!! shock horror, I was thinking it was real but now all I'm left with is the thought that Derren Brown must be some sort of illusionist winkbiggrin

Nice to see he timed it right and didn't over run into the adverts even though he supposedly had somebody else's £5000 at stake and it was apparently live wink

Stunt was pulled to counter act the cheap lottery stunt if you ask me.....look everybody Derren can't predict everything. rolleyes

Now knowing that he's a bit partial to camera trickery, I think he's lost himself a lot of credibility in that one stunt alone.

I know what you mean, but his other stuff has been visually better produced. This just felt amateurish.
