Just how impressive is this series so far?

I really am awe-struck by the quality of the filming and simply by how animals can adapt to their situation and surroundings.

Anyone else watching?

Yup! Excellent eh? Takes about 4/5 years to make this kind of film.

Stunning!

The guardian frog digging a channel to save the tadpoles!... The Komodo dragons waiting over 3 weeks for the Buffalo!

Excellent programme, amazing research

I love BBC wildlife stuff. The recent South Pacific series was stunning too. Glad I got an HD telly.

I particularly like the diary bits on the end showing the effort they went to to film it.

It's great.

Especially if you have a media centre hooked up to the Plasma telly. iPlayer looks bloody great in HD - I'm not sure it's quite 1080p but it's a damn site better than watching the SD freeview or sky broadcast. Well done BBC thumbup

I appreciate exactly why a lot of people don't approve of the BBC licence fee - but I'd hate a world without these programmes.
