Has now turned into some sort of mother's coffee morning interspersed with Mika records and somebody screeching through one of my favourite songs (Wild Horses)
And it's over 3 hours until Danny Baker.

And all these people who tell me to tune to another station .. what? Needs to have music as I can't concentrate with just chat, and it can't have adverts.

BBC 6Music? Having said that, between 10 and 1 George Lamb is on and he's a bit of a knob. Otherwise it's generally very good.

radio 2 feels like its mutating into radio 1 a bit lately mainly because of some of the music theyre playing at the moment. fortunately, theyve still got radcliffe and maconie so as long as theyre still at radio 2 ill never switch off!

I usually have Radio 2 on in the morning until Steve Weight comes on, then its over to Radio 6 for the rest of the day. Richard Bacon and then Steve Lamaq usually push out some quality tunes, and there are a fair ammount of new bands played on there too.

exactly .. that's Ball, Vine and Wright unlistenable to. All day, basically, and when Simon Mayo takes over, that'll mean nothing worth listening to on radio2 from 9:30 until 8 most nights, until Radcliffe and Moconie come on .. no good if you want to listen during the day!
I'm too old for R1, and not liking 6 music too much so far, but I'll have to persevere as I can't stand commercial breaks all the time.

Ken Bruce, a Scottish Wogan if ever I heard one.
