Idiots
Idiots

And screaming in NVG-Vision at naturally occurring air movements does not good TV make.
Me "What a great scam, money for nothing. They're never going to find anything are they"
her "they might"
Me "They won't though"
Her "Why not? They might"
Me "They wn't though will they?"
Her "Why not? They might"
Me "becasue ghosts AREN'T REAL"
Her "Well yes, it is a bit pointless then"
I must admit I liked the original concept behind these shows. Get four slightly jittery people, add a dodgy spiritualist type and send them into an old dark and dingy property, with out proper lighting.
Then sit back and watch them scare the crap out of each other on night vision, great!

I would be inclined to agree with you, but my neice saw one when she was about 4 years old (i.e. she was a bit too innocent to be making it up) - she just asked my sister who was the nice lady who watches over her some nights...Idiots

I agree. Original concept was pretty good and made good tele but then all this orb bThen sit back and watch them scare the crap out of each other on night vision, great!

Here's a wild and wacky ghost theory. They aren't ghosts from the past, but ghosts from the future.
Everyone says that time travel is impossible or we would have had visitors from the future dropping in on famous events. Well considering the human race could be around for a few million more years you have to think that maybe, just maybe someone in the future has invented time travel. Not the ability to travel forward in time, they can only go back. What would the governments do about it to prevent paradoxes and people changing history. They could allow time travel, but as non-interfering, non-visible "ghosts" able to observe but not change the past. They can't be heard, they can't be seen or felt. But sometimes the image or presence is noticed by more "sensitive" people.
Well it's about as believable as ghosts. So why not.

Good thinking, but the problem I see with your idea is that some people report seeing ghosts, for want of a better word, wearing recognisable costumes. The famous Roman soldiers marching through a building at York for example. Everyone says that time travel is impossible or we would have had visitors from the future dropping in on famous events. How do you know? Personally I'm not so sure. Also there is the well documented point that if ghosts do exist then we will have to re-write all current laws of maths and physics.
I'm hedging my bets with Hawking and Newton rather than Feilding and Acora.

Open Mind? I have a very open mind I watch all sort of documentaries about the unexplained, mysteries and paranormal I have done for years and the overwhelming thing that comes accross is that there is not one scrap of evidence for ghosts.
Maybe you should have more of an open mind to the facts? There is no credible evidence and the basic laws of maths and physics make ghosts an impossibility.

Just one question, if you had discovered time travel would you use that power to go back in time to watch the kind of idiots who go on ghost walks?Everyone says that time travel is impossible or we would have had visitors from the future dropping in on famous events.
