Hey guys,

What can you recommend? Along the lines of Quatermass and the Pitt, Lifeforce, etc.

Thanks!

Village of the Damned
Fahrenheit 451
Dr Who Invasion Earth 2150
Dr Who and the Daleks
Thunderbirds are Go
2001: A Space Odyssey

OK - the last was made by MGM but it shot entirely in the UK at Borehamwood Studios and used a large number of British actors and technical personel.

And Stanley Kubrick lived in the UK for a large part of his career.

Keep 'em coming!

By the way, where were the outside shots of 451 done, specifically the monorail-like thing? Did that exist or was it a fake prop?

Alien, then, as John Hurt is English!

You are getting into that awkward teritory as to what precisely is a "British" film.

Since the 1960s, many Hollywood blockbusters have been made here in the UK but would not normally be looked on as "British". The James Bond series (which are really science fiction in many of their aspects) have a massive British input.

Ridley Scott is British as well (Scottish IIRC).

It's not a British film though!
