Got tomorrow evening baby sitting whilst the OH lets her hair down with pals (well, it's my baby so mustn't grumble). So, as long as little one agrees, was thinking of an extended PS3 catch up, however I've got the Godfather in HD on the Sky box. Never seen it. People say it's 3 hours very well spent, is this the case?

Part II is also even better IMHO if she's late coming back or pulls someone smile

Yes The Godfather is excellent viewing, and Part 2 bucks the sequel trend by being AT LEAST as good as Part 1.

Part 3 - the least said the better I'm afraid.

It has been a long time since I saw any of them but, at least from memory, Godfather III wasn't THAT bad - it was watchable enough in its own right. It just suffered badly in comparison with the greatness of its predecessors.

If only I had time to dig out and rewatch my Godfather DVD box set... :sigh:

Godfather is great - watched it for the first time on a freebie weekend from Sky Movies - but I made the mistake of reading the book first, and then wondering where a lot of the detail in the movie was. Still firly placed in my top 10.

In contrast with an unpredictable turn around, ended up watching 4 hours of darts. With beer, and pizza. Gripped.
