My favourite one is still the Vietnam special. Felt like a proper adventure and made you want to go and do exactly the same trip they did. Plus, the whole place was interesting enough that they didn't need to do so much of the obviously staged crap. No cars to speak of, but still an incredible petrolhead vibe.

The first few series were all good imho.

The very first one crammed in all car action start to finish, and was imho still entertaining if you were in to cars at all.

the lightweight supercars in europe. GT3, Gallardo SL and the Aston. The american muscle cars road trip, ZR1, Dodge and Caddy seeing captain slow pull one on clarkson was ace.
