Is this Joe Pesci

Just watched The Thomas Crown Affair 1968 with Steve McQueen. 35 minutes in there is a scene in the police station and this guy says ' I wanna get outta here'
I am convinced it's Joe Pesci but his name wasn't mention at the end and his biography is no help.
Joe was born in 1943 so he would be 25 years old when this film was made. what do think?
