My radio won't go to Radio 1.

Not sure why. Maybe it's my hands?

Is it the lack of an opposable thumb?

Not wanting to sound all anal hi-fi sort, but there's just something weird/wrong with whatever Radio 1 do to their sound isn't there?.

It's some form of compression I guess but it just murders the music.

Im listening via the TV on Virgin Media so I probably wont bother stressing about the quality. I agree though, it sounds like youre listening with popped ears sometimes.

Cheered me up at work, and on the way back home I put on pantera's vulgar display of power followed by cowboys from hell to help with a tedious 40mph trek on the ice rink. Todays been a good day smile

Thought that was friday?

Either way will be good to hear the whole album

Quite looking forward to tonight as well, was a fan of the streets a long time ago, but haven't heard anything from them in ages

But is it really a modern masterpiece?

By putting Metallica on Monday night (with an album that sold 15million copies in the US alone), they set the bar pretty high. Im amazed they had the guts to folllow it up with the Streets.

The closest they would come to an equal will be Daft Punk I think. And that will be a distant second.
