SPOILER

Hayden Christensen wasn't in Return of the Jedi. By that time his carature would be Darth Vader so you do not see his face.

I absolutely completely and utterly refused to watch that ste. Is that the same generation as "Han Shot first" or a later remaster. Remaster? fk up more like.

As simple link to the other 3 films they made. Not rocket science.

So Darth Vader reverted to a younger version of himself? What he went back in time?

I am so glad I have the original films before they were remastered.

Well, whether it made sense or not is another issue, but that's why they did it.

Crock of crap if you ask me. Keep the original films and do the prequels but don't mess with the originals.

Agree entirely. They fettled with THX 1138 as well, and made it quite naff in places.

Simply because they edited the original to reflect the plot expansions that had taken place in the subsequent prequels (surely "subsequent prequels" is something of an oxymoron?).

Much as I edited your post to make it make sense.

It will be the digitally remastered version shown then..... So he's been added in after he was born, after all, a little bit tricky to do it before........

And in the original version of Return of the Jedi, when Darth Vader was unmasked, it wasn't Dave Prowse in the costume.

I don't get what the big deal is? That's what Vader looked like as a Jedi, so what?

Dunno, as I said, it's not rocket science.

So why didn't the editors change obi-wan(Alec Guinness) to Ewan McGregor then.It doesn't make sense.

Because Obiwan was a good, nice, loving wee fellow until his death... Anakin was only good, and pure up until that point, where he was taken over by the schwartz side of the thumb.
