Brittany Murphy dies from cardiac arrest aged 32

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

Very sad news and 32 is no age. I have a dvd of her in a film called Spun also starring Mickey Rourke and Deborah Harry. Strange film but she was very good in it.

Sadly there were rumours that her career was being hampered due to drugs and irratic behaviour, may well be significant. She was good in Sin City.

alot of the talk is anorexia and drugs

one of the reasons her career didnt go as great as it really could've.

She was talented and a diverse actress, Have been watching King Of The Hill all week and you'de never know it her until the credits. Brilliant in Sin City and Clueless.

What are they going to do about the Sin City franchise now? Her Waitress character was the only chracrter that appeared in all of the Sin City novels and the one linking character.
