Anyone seen the trailer for this?

Another Ridley Scott/Russell Crow 'historical' film, it just looks like Gladiator 2 to me!

When I saw this was coming I thought to myself "Yes, this is just what the world needs, another Robin Hood film"

Some bits filmed near me, so I will be going.

Watching Costners version now - it does look dated, so why not. Its a good story.

I think Gladiator II is actually called Centurion. Also due out soon.

English history/folklore is full of great heroes, we have had umpteen Hood/Arthur films, let's have one of the others for a change.

That's because much of it was filmed at exactly the same location as the opening scenes of Gladiator.

It's where I hoon about on my mountain bike. smile

Well, it has to be better than Costner's ouvre collosal turd. But it'll never match the original and best:

Have we had even one yet that bears any resemblance to the original legend?

If they have done it properly this time it might be well worth seeing.

no doubt russell crowe will be wearing knitted mail shirts and fibreglass armor, apparently it was too heavy for him in his previous films smile

always thought nottingham was in the centre of the country in a dense forest, the beach scene was a lot further than where he was supposed to live, but who cares about that sort of thing if it looks good

woods look like black park near pinewood studios smile
