Just flicking around this evening I stumbled upon this on Viva/TMF. It seems to encompass the fast and furious, pimp my ride and need for speed, making for a bit of a chav wet dream. The idea is two people do a time trial around an old air base, the fastest winning the other ones car. This only happens after Huey Morgan (The Fun Lovin Criminals guy) and his team of American 'modifiers' tart both cars up. It is quite bizarre how it cuts between a dull disused airbase and Huey cruising around in some Hummer or Muscle Car. Anyway a quick google shows the episodes to be online, so I figured I would post it up here as it's a car related TV program rolleyes I definitely feel it has that oddly compelling 'what crap are they going to come out with next, I simply must watch' thing going on laugh

Max Power journos race in this one, leads me to think, should we enter a PH car laugh

I watched this once, it was a race between a 1.6 Nissan Primera and a 1.4 Vauxhall Tigra. It was just awful in every way imaginable.

I must say I quite enjoy this show boxedinpaperbag
But you are quite right, out of the 25 minutes it takes up on the tele, the watchable bits probably add up to around 4 to 5 minutes worth.

I wish I could go on there... if for nothing else than to get my mitts on the aplinestars race overalls they get wink

It's a UK remake of a US show with the same name. Motors or Men & Motors used to show it a few years ago. It was run as a best of three, quarter mile event. It was very average. It's good to see that the trend of taking a poor US show and making it even worse has continued...
