Itunes HD movies

Hi folks,

Anyone know whether Itunes offer HD films to download (rather than rent)?

Been very generously given £50 to spend on there and would like to get some stuff to watch on my Dell s2409w.

Yes you can... You couldn't google it, or look at itunes to find out?

Googled "iTunes HD" but nothing on there to suggest that this service was available in UK (or otherwise). Not a regular user of iTunes but certainly couldn't see that any of the recent films (e.g. Watchmen, District 9, etc) offered an HD version. I can't be the only one that finds iTunes horrible to navigate?

Thanks for responding in the affirmative though, clearly the HD films are hidden away somewhere so will go and have another look!

Horrible to navigate? Just put what you want in, and it finds it, or you can browse by genre, actor, etc? Yes, it's awful

This recent forum discussion suggests that HD movies are not available in the UK...

This would tally with the fact that as I navigate around iTunes there is an HDTV quick link but not one for movies. Hence why I get the option to buy the Planet Earth TV series in HD but not any films.

Looks like those pesky Canadians have just got it - maybe the UK will be next?
