Okay, so here's another film for someone to name ... this has been bugging me for some while ...
I remember watching it (and enjoying it enormously) when I was a child of about 10-ish on TV (cough, that's about 30 years ago then) so the film is probably about 40 years or so old, maybe more.
Japanese with subtitles. The premise of the movie was that somehow a WW2 Japanese squadron (handily comprised of a bunch of soldiers, a tank, helicopter, and a few other vehicles, one of each type) got sent back in time to Samurai times, where they got involved in some local warlord spat, and with their "modern" equipment managed to win a battle almost single handedly (but eventually all died due to overwelming numbers)
