I'm thinking of getting a few box sets in the sales, one of them being the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles season 1 & 2 set. A few reviews on amazon and play say there's a problem with series 2 disc 1 pausing and skipping.

Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Terminator-Connor-Chronicl...
Play - http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/9768276/Termina...

Has anyone got this set and can confirm the bad disc, or is it a bad batch, or user error on their part? I might go for the DVD set if it is a problem.

I'd not let one disgruntled customer put me off buying tbh. No matter how good a product, amazon rarely fails to turn up at least one keyboard warrior.

Good series btw.

I thought my Inglorious Basterds Blu Ray was faulty until I did some research, and realised that my panasonic blu ray player maybe in need of a firmware update. After plugging my broadband cable into the blu ray machine, it automatically upgraded the firmware, result Inglorious played no problem. It was the first blu ray I'd had any problem with.

Right, I've got a PS3, updates come down the line when they're released for that. Part of me was thinking 'keyboard warrior' when I saw the Amazon review, then I saw the play review and thought there might be something to it?

Didn't know about this issue, but got this over Xmas, and yes, the first disk did keep going blank and missed a few seconds every ten or so minutes when I watched them on the ps3 through plasma, watched disc two the other night through same ps3 but on projector with no issues. I thought it was an issue with the tv, but after Reading this, it must be with disk 1. Not a big problem, as watching it was still fine, but the review must be right, as I had the same.

Ah ok well if it's a jump every 10 minutes or so it's probably worth putting up with, I had visions of it being like Norman Collier's microphone for the whole disc. I'd heard it was a good series but never seen it.
