Hi all

I love family Guy, obviously i got Something something darkside......

Watched it and i think i need to watch Star Wars. Ive managed 27 years without watching it (apart from some chaps on a floating motorbike in a forest), it has never interested me.

In the interest of Family Guy im guessing it will help alot but is it really all that? Some people say its the best thing in the world ever and are totaly obsessed with it and some can live withut it.

For someone like myself shall i bother with all 6 or just watch the first (last) three?

Nick

Watch the original 3 (4,5 and 6) as the more recent ones are awful.

The original 3 are fairly good films, enjoyable action flicks with some funny moments. They have dated somewhat but they are definately worth a watch. They are over-rated and you do get the odd nutter taking them too seriously. If at all possible, try and watch an earlier DVD release so you can avoid seeing Hayden Christensen's smug face on your TV.

The F.G Star Wars specials would make more sense had you previosly watched the films, although Robot Chicken do a far better job of spoofing them.

If you haven't watched it and enjoyed it by now then you probably never will.

Actually, probably not that important if you haven't seen it before. It just ruins the film if you have..

Cana computer down load version compare with seeing it in a cinema back in 1977?

Somebody will be asking the same question about Avatar in 30 year's time perhaps.

Why change from one grammatically incorrect sentence to another one?

It's something you watch and grow up enjoying and referencing, if you watch as an adult with all the build-up and references already in your mind then you'll probably just be dissapointed.

Watching Family guy before Empire is bit pointless...90% of the gags are Empire film references...slight re-working of the original dialogue or recreation of exact scenes with a twist.

For anyone that HAS seen Empire...Dark Side is VERY funny.

The person who made Family Guy is obsessed with it, hence the Blue Harvestbiggrin
