Second series of 3 episodes starts tonight, loved the first series so hopefully this will be as good.

They've been screening the original, with subtitles. In truth I thought it was better, so tonight's viewing will depend on what else is on...

Yeah, I like the originals, but I've missed a few.

I really love both the Swedish version and the BBC version, they are both so atmospheric. There does seem to be some plot inconsistencies with the Swedish version sometimes though I think.

Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but it seems that Branagh is doing a better job of the haunted/haunting feeling of the original in this series. It's not bad at all.

I just wonder if they are ever going to harvest that wheat, it was in need of a Combine the whole of the last series.

I just watched 2 of the first series of episodes on Sky over Christmas (on the Alibi channel I think it was). I've really enjoyed the original Swedish films BBC4 have been showing, so wasn't sure what to make of the BBC version, but I thought that Branagh did a good job.

Didn't realise that it was on tonight so will have to make use of Iplayer tomorrow.
